Directed by Haneef Adeni, Marco is an intense action drama that has been making waves since its theatrical release on December 20, 2024. Now, for those who missed it on the big screen, the film is streaming on the OTT platform SonyLIV.
The movie follows Marco, played by Unni Mukundan, on his relentless quest for justice. After returning from Italy, he is devastated by the brutal murder of his adopted brother, Victor. Despite being visually impaired, Victor manages to identify his killer—Russell Isaac—before his tragic death.
Determined to avenge his brother, Marco sets out to confront Russell, his father Tony, and their network of accomplices. As his journey unfolds, he faces immense personal loss, including the deaths of his own family members at the hands of Russell and his brother Cyrus. The gripping narrative builds up to an electrifying climax, where Marco not only delivers justice but also rescues a kidnapped child, bringing his fight full circle.

Despite the divided opinions, the film was a major box-office success. It opened with an impressive Rs 10.8 crore worldwide on its first day, making it the fourth highest day-one grosser for a Malayalam film in 2024. The movie continued its strong run, eventually becoming the highest-grossing A-rated Malayalam film of all time, with worldwide earnings of Rs 102.55 crore.
With its digital debut on SonyLIV, Marco joins a growing lineup of Malayalam blockbusters on the platform, including Pani, Bougainvillea, Thalavan, Turbo, Bramayugam, Salute, and 2018, among others.
