Malayalam film Pallotty 90’s Kids, starring Arjun Ashokan, Balu Varghese, Saiju Kurup, Sudhi Koppa, Dinesh Prabhakar, Niranjana Anoop, Master Davinchi and Master Neeraj Krishna, is now available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video. Directed by Jithin Raj, this 2024 release has garnered attention for its nostalgic portrayal of childhood in the 1990s.
Set in a quaint village in Kerala, Pallotty 90’s Kids delves into Kannan and Unni’s adventures, mischiefs, and the bond they share, capturing the essence of growing up in the 90s. The film beautifully portrays the simplicity of village life and the innocence of childhood during that era.
Upon its release, Pallotty 90’s Kids received mixed reviews. The movie earned praise for its sincere storytelling, compelling performances, and the ability to evoke nostalgia. During its theatrical run, it collected Rs 0.9 crore worldwide, according to trade tracker Sacnilk.
In 2023, the film, presented by ace filmmaker Lijo Jose Pellissery, won three Kerala State Film Awards, including Best Child Actor, Best Children’s Film and Best Playback Singer.
Pallotty 90’s Kids joins the Amazon Prime Video library, which has other recent Malayalam releases like Mura, Aavesham, Aattam, Anand Sreebala, and Gaganachari, among others.
