About This Ottashikharam Serial

Ottashikharam is an emotional family drama centered on the complexities of motherhood, sacrifice, and modern ethics. The plot initially unfolds around a childless couple yearning for parenthood who turn to surrogacy to fulfill their dreams. Meenakshi takes on the role of the surrogate mother, but carrying the child fosters an inseparable maternal bond that cannot be severed simply by contract. When the time comes to part ways, immense heartache, conflicting loyalties, and shifting agreements force Meenakshi and her father, Thulasidharan, into hiding to protect the child, setting off an intense tug-of-war between legal claims and instinctual motherhood.
As the narrative progresses, the storyline deepens into an intricate web of domestic conspiracies, hidden identities, and property disputes. As the young girl (Neethamol) grows up separated from the full truth of her origins, opportunistic relatives and scheming managers circle to usurp family wealth and exploit unresolved legal battles. Through heart-wrenching confrontations, shifting alliances, and eventual revelations regarding her biological parentage, Meenakshi must continuously fight against societal judgment, family deception, and manipulative adversaries to safeguard her daughter's future.
